Job Title: Tax Manager, M&A Tax
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary tax resource for corporate acquisitions, dispositions, and restructuring initiatives, managing the entire tax lifecycle from due diligence to post-close integration.
- Develop comprehensive tax strategies for complex business transactions, coordinating across teams and disciplines to achieve strategic objectives.
- Conduct in-depth research on domestic and international tax implications, supporting detailed financial models and presentations.
- Create and implement organizational processes to ensure seamless post-closing tax compliance and integration.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration across Legal, Accounting, HR, and Corporate Development teams.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years of tax, finance, or a related analytical field experience.
- ., or Master's degree.
- Experience working in a large public accounting firm or multi-national corporate tax department.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Significant experience in M&A and outbound taxation concepts.
- Deep knowledge of corporate tax laws, including domestic and international, along with a working understanding of state and local tax concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate complex tax laws in a business setting.
- Experience leading the tax work stream of a transaction.
- Experience with large-scale entity restructuring projects.
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to multi-task between large, complex projects.
- Experience managing large-scale projects.
- Strong technical writing and federal/international tax research skills.
Salary Information:
The base pay for this position ranges from $80,900/year in the lowest geographic market up to $172,900/year in the highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Company is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
