Job Responsibilities:
The attorney will join the Stability and Independence for Survivors Practice Group to provide legal services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The responsibilities include:
- Offering free civil legal assistance to eligible individuals and groups
- Working collaboratively with team members and community partners
- Representing clients in family and juvenile court settings
- Managing cases efficiently using case management software
- Conducting court hearings and in-person client meetings as required

Education and Experience Information:
Candidates must possess:
- Excellent legal and communication skills
- Experience with case management software
- Ability to relate well to individuals living in poverty
- Understanding of the dynamics of domestic violence and its impact on parenting
- Commitment to providing high-quality legal services
- Experience working with domestic violence survivors is ideal
- Familiarity with family and juvenile court representation
- Admittance to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admittance by motion or temporary certification
