Senior Manager, Tax Accounting Methods and Credit Services
KPMG is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to join our dynamic Accounting Methods and Credit Services practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with high-profile clients, develop industry expertise, and utilize cutting-edge technology to create innovative tax solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and development (R&D) tax credit consulting services as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Lead federal tax consulting services, including accounting method assessments and implementation of revenue and expense recognition strategies
- Communicate directly with client personnel and maintain excellent client relationships
- Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating with both KPMG and client resources
- Assist in new business development by networking within the firm and building on existing relationships
- Liaise with KPMG's National Washington Tax practice on technical matters
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting or corporate taxation, with a focus on accounting methods and credit services
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM preferred; other approved credentials also accepted
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet research
- Experience managing multiple client engagements and teams, with the ability to travel as needed
