Job Title: Sourcing Senior Claims Resolution Specialist Bodily Injury
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage, investigate, and resolve attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims, focusing on mild to moderate severity and complexity.
- Investigate and evaluate coverage, liability, and damages, settling claims within prescribed authority levels.
- Identify potential suspicious claims, referring them to the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), and identify opportunities for third-party subrogation.
- Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences, reporting to both Home Office and local management on status.
- Confer with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information regarding claims, refer tasks to auxiliary resources as necessary, and advise on the proper course of action.
- Respond to various written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
- Ensure the adequacy of reserves and maintain accountability for the security of financial processing of claims, as well as the security of information contained in claims files.
- Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required.
- Manage the practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.
Education and Experience Information:
- Preferred Qualifications include 2+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty Experience and 2+ years of Attorney Represented Experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are required, along with good interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated competency in legal liability, general insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law is necessary.
- The capabilities, skills, and knowledge required are typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with at least 12-18 months of directly related experience.
- Ability to obtain proper licensing as required.
Salary Information:
- Minimum Salary: USD $60, per year
- Maximum Salary: USD $94, per year
- Typical Starting Salary: $68,500 to $85,500
- Flexible Time Off Annual Accrual: 15 days
- The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by various factors, including skills, experience, education, certifications, and location. The full salary range reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
