Job Title: Lead Counsel, AI Partnerships
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice and day-to-day support to internal stakeholders related to artificial intelligence (AI) technology transactions.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on AI technology transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Draft, negotiate, and finalize AI transactions of varying complexity, safeguarding the company's interests while fostering innovation and collaboration.
- Actively participate in cross-functional teams, collaborating with colleagues from various departments to achieve strategic objectives.
Education and Experience Information:
- A . degree (or foreign equivalent) is required.
- Active membership in at least one US state bar, with eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status if required by the State Bar in the assigned work location.
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience as a practicing attorney, which can include experience at a law firm and/or in-house.
- Demonstrated business judgment and client counseling experience, with a strong ability to draft complex technology licensing agreements and provide technology transaction counseling.
- Effective communication skills are essential.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working proactively, independently, and reliably under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in collaborating across all levels of the business, including leadership and C-suite executives.
- Specific experience in working on AI transactions is highly desirable.
Salary Information:
- The salary range for this position is $167,000 to $233,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
- Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. The compensation details reflect the base annual salary only and do not include bonus, equity, or sales incentives, if applicable.
