Duties:

• Support patent prosecution and litigation efforts related to electrical engineering and software technologies.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of patent applications, including drafting technical documents and correspondence.
• Research patent laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Provide technical analysis and advice to attorneys on complex intellectual property matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and clients to develop effective strategies for patent prosecution and litigation.
• Participate in meetings with clients, experts, and opposing counsel, offering technical insights.
• Help prepare expert reports and support in expert witness preparation when necessary.
• Assist in drafting and reviewing patent claims, specifications, and other documents.

Requirements:

• Strong technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• No previous intellectual property experience is required, though it is a plus.
• Interest in learning and growing within the field of patent law.

Education:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field is required.

Skills:

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex technical concepts.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences.
• Proficiency in patent documentation and technology-related legal processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with wireless communication technologies such as 5G, 6G, and 3GPP standards is a plus but not required.
