Tax Senior Manager - Personal Financial Services

Job Responsibilities:

The role involves experiencing the entire business life cycle of a private company from inception to growth, maturity, and transition. The team aids clients in developing, designing, and implementing plans to achieve personal wealth goals and ensure maintenance for future generations. This involves analyzing the tax efficiencies of income tax, investment, insurance, risk, and other lifestyle investments planning to establish a foundation for financial longevity.

As a Senior Manager, responsibilities include:
- Working as part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encouraging everyone to have a voice and inviting opinions from all, including quieter team members.
- Effectively dealing with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Initiating open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.

- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing and discussing potential solutions before they are required.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years

Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader and consulting with high net worth individuals on financial planning, wealth transfer planning, business succession planning, or trust and estate work.
- Possesses comprehensive technical skills with Form 1040 for High Net Worth individuals and Form K1 production and compliance.
- Possesses considerable experience identifying and addressing client needs.
- Leading as a business advisor, developing new relationships, making introductions to sell new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Preferred familiarity with a CRM system.
- Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge of automation and digitization, leading by example in a professional services environment.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies, experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
- Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Advancing pricing strategy through the use of pricing tools and influence a shift to alternative fee arrangements.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws.
