Duties

• Handle a variety of litigation matters, including civil, employment, business, and insurance cases

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery documents

• Assist with trial preparation and participate in court proceedings

• Collaborate with legal teams and clients to develop case strategies

• Manage case files, deadlines, and court schedules

• Support both plaintiff and defense litigation efforts as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2–3 years of litigation experience

• Experience handling both plaintiff and defense work preferred

• Strong legal research and analytical abilities

• Commitment to high-quality legal writing and effective oral advocacy

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in both Missouri and Kansas
