Duties:

  • Work on a broad range of high-profile appellate matters, including cases before the . Supreme Court and federal courts of appeals.
  • Support the firm’s “appellate eyes at trial” practice, advising on key motions and issue preservation at the trial court level.
  • Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and motions.
  • Assist in preparing for oral arguments and developing litigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal teams to deliver strategic counsel.
  • Contribute to case management, timelines, and client communication.

Requirements:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably with a federal or state appellate court.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex legal matters.
  • Highly motivated and proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to function effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admitted to the relevant state bar and in good standing.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong oral communication and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to analyze and present complex legal issues clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
