Job Title: Junior for our Direct Tax Compliance department (m/f/d)
Job Responsibilities:
- Preparing tax returns for Luxembourg companies operating in various sectors including commercial, real estate, private equity, and industrial.
- Preparing statutory tax provisions, as well as consolidated current tax and deferred tax calculations.
- Assisting clients concerning the EU Pillar Two directive and the Luxembourg legislation implementing Pillar Two.
- Analyzing accounting information and clients' annual accounts.
- Handling correspondence received from tax authorities, circulars, tax opinions, and conducting legal research in tax codes or double taxation treaties.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting with a focus on taxation, or in law with ideally a focus on accounting or taxation is required.
- Candidates should be eager to apply their accounting and legal knowledge while continuing to train themselves in taxation.
- Understanding of tax accounting under Luxembourg GAAP, IFRS, and/or US GAAP is considered an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of the Pillar Two rules (OECD and/or EU Directive) is beneficial.
- Candidates should be organized, flexible, and capable of managing multiple files simultaneously.
- Demonstrating team spirit, dynamism, and good interpersonal skills are essential for successful integration and performance within the team.
- Fluency in English is required, while working knowledge of French and/or German is considered an asset.
