They are currently seeking a Tax Manager for their Financial Services Office in New York, with potential to work remotely from other locations. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join a dynamic team and work with a variety of clients in the financial services industry. The Tax Manager will be responsible for providing tax advice and support to clients on information reporting and withholding matters, as well as other global compliance and reporting initiatives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of IRS code and regulations, excellent writing skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Interfacing with clients and colleagues on large and small projects related to information reporting and withholding
- Reading and interpreting IRS code and regulations
- Drafting guidance and policies for clients
- Conducting gap analysis of clients' current policies, procedures, and systems
- Developing business requirements and preparing documentation
- Providing technical analysis and process improvement suggestions
- Responding to requests for proposals from clients
- Managing and training staff located in remote delivery centers

To qualify for this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant tax consulting or tax operational experience. A ., . in Taxation, or Master's in Taxation is preferred, as well as certification as a CPA, Project Management Professional, Six Sigma, Lean, or a certified member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation. The ideal candidate will also have experience in tax information reporting and withholding work, and active participation in industry groups.

EY offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with a base salary range of $128,200 to $235,100.
