Manage property casualty and first-party property litigation cases
Represent clients in state and federal courts
Draft pleadings, motions, complaints, and briefs with minimal supervision
Conduct and defend depositions
Manage discovery and litigation strategy
Mentor and supervise support staff or junior attorneys
Prepare cases for trial
Participate in firm initiatives and contribute to the development of practice area knowledge
Minimum of 3 years of experience in property casualty, first-party property, or civil litigation
Experience managing litigation through all phases, including trial preparation
Strong familiarity with state and federal court procedures
Admitted to practice law in California and in good standing
Willingness to work remotely with occasional travel as needed
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
Active California State Bar license (Required)
Additional state bar admissions are a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong litigation, negotiation, and trial preparation abilities
Ability to work independently and manage a full caseload
Proficient in legal research and case management
Comfortable with technology and legal software platforms
