Job Title: Manager, Contracts Administration 1

Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Contracts Administration 1 at the company is responsible for leading a newly awarded major development program and the supporting contracts team within the Advanced Systems Operating Unit under the Advanced Mission Capabilities Business Unit. The role involves overseeing a team of professionals and working closely with the Program management team, including internal stakeholders such as Global Supply Chain, Business Management, and the Law Department. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading program kick-off and establishing a change management rigor within the team.
- Leading Engineering Change Proposal efforts.
- Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
- Training and mentoring the contracts team.
- Providing BU, Division, and/or Sector level briefings.
- Offering contractual strategy guidance to program and executive management.
- Ensuring data integrity oversight.
- Providing objective-oriented direction in accordance with management guidelines and company procedures.
- Collaborating effectively with the Program team and managing external customers.
- Providing guidance and direction based on contract requirements.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in Contracts Administration or a related field, or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Contracts Administration in a FAR/DFARS environment.
- Background in Department of Defense (DoD) contracting, with prior experience with the US Government (USG) and/or major defense contractor customers.
- Experience in negotiating and administering various contract types of varying sizes, as well as supplemental agreements.
- Experience with proposal development and negotiation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Current active DoD Secret clearance, with the most recent periodic investigation completed in the last five years.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top-Secret clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working on classified development and manufacturing programs.
- An MBA or JD is a plus but not a requirement.
- Knowledge of and ability to use SAP.
- Proven leadership skills, interpersonal skills, and ability to mentor and train assigned staff.
- Demonstrated 1+ year(s) of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Active DoD Top Secret clearance.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Manager, Contracts Administration 1 position is $102, to $153,. This range represents a general guideline, and the company considers several factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may also be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions and allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Additionally, the company provides various benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
