Job Description:
- Provide court-appointed legal representation to indigent individuals in criminal cases
- Handle a variety of cases including Criminal, Juvenile, Child in Need of Aid, Commitment, Appellate, and Post-Conviction relief cases
- Work independently to research and compose legal briefs
- Possess strong oral advocacy skills
- Admitted to the Alaska bar, eligible for bar admission by reciprocity, or willing to sit for the next Alaska Bar exam
- Must have outstanding writing and analytical skills
