Job Title: Senior Associate, Federal Tax - Alternative Investments
Job Responsibilities:
- Support Tax Managers and Partners in managing client portfolios on a day-to-day basis.
- Take responsibility for overall engagement planning and job administration, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Keep management informed about the progress of important engagement and client relationship issues.
- Audit basic-to-complex tax provisions and perform thorough reviews of working papers to ensure conclusions are supported and firm policies are met.
- Execute various aspects of compliance with moderate to minimal direction from management.
- Supervise several associate staff members on large and complex engagements when appropriate.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of three years of recent investment partnership and/or mutual fund tax experience in public accounting is required.
- A Bachelor's degree, ., . in taxation, and/or Masters in Taxation (MST) from an accredited college/university is necessary.
- Applied working knowledge of . Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), accounting procedures, and partnership tax regulations is essential.
- Exceptional skills in reviewing 1065 and 1120-RIC tax returns are required.
- Ability to meet challenging client requirements and provide services is crucial.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities are necessary.
Salary Information:
- The company complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. Offered salaries are determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees, certifications, and market considerations.
- California Salary Range: $69,900 - $138,200.
- A comprehensive compensation and benefits package is offered, which includes medical and dental plans, vision coverage, disability and life insurance, 401(k) plans, and personal well-being benefits to support mental health.
- Depending on job classification, standard work hours, and years of service, the company provides Personal Time Off per fiscal year. Additionally, two firmwide breaks are provided each year where employees will not be required to use Personal Time Off.
