Responsibilities:
- Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to develop AI products
- Use Pytorch, AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, and more to analyze data
- Build AI foundation models from design to implementation
- Conduct impactful research to enhance customer experiences
- Translate technical work into tangible business goals

Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about creating trustworthy and reliable AI systems
- Continuously research and evaluate emerging technologies
- Thrive in solving complex problems and sharing new ideas
- A leader who challenges conventional thinking
- Comfortable with open-source languages and has hands-on experience with AI models

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or has a PhD
- Or has an MS with at least 2 years of experience in Applied Research

Preferred Qualifications:
- PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering or related fields
- Experience with NLP and published papers on pre-training large language models
- Expertise in optimization, self-supervised learning, robustness, explainability, or RLHF
- Experience with compiler design
- Knowledge of transfer learning and model adaptation

Salary Information:
- Minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries listed by location
- Part-time salaries will be prorated based on agreed upon hours
- Eligible for performance-based incentives
