The role is ideal for a Maryland-barred attorney with hands-on experience or a strong interest in state and federal court proceedings. Duties:

  • Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution

  • Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

  • Conduct depositions, discovery, and legal research

  • Engage with clients and maintain effective communication

  • Ensure compliance with procedural rules across jurisdictions

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice in Maryland

  • Additional bar admission in VA, DC, or WV is an asset

  • 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation preferred, though more experienced candidates will be considered

  • Strong legal writing and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple case files independently

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and good standing membership with the Maryland State Bar

  • Bar admission in additional jurisdictions (VA, DC, WV) is advantageous
