Responsibilities:
- Manage cases through the entirety of the tax sale litigation process
- Identify parcels that qualify for sale
- Prepare notice advertisements
- Order and review titles
- Prepare and file complaints and other litigation documents
- Coordinate and schedule hearings
- Prepare and conduct auctions
- Close out sales after confirmation by the court
- Perform title review and research
- Draft correspondence and court pleadings
- Track cases and maintain files
- Assist with general tax collection duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Civil litigation and/or title review experience preferred but not required
- Extensive training provided
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases
