Job Title: Senior Associate, State & Local Income Tax, Asset Management - (Remote Option)
Job Responsibilities:
- Support multi-state companies with state and local income tax compliance.
- Assist clients with tax issues related to state and local income and franchise taxes.
- Review state income and franchise tax estimated payments, extensions, and tax returns.
- Manage and address notices received from state tax authorities.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of three years of recent experience in preparing and/or reviewing state income tax returns and providing technical advice on multi-state tax issues is required.
- A Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
- A Bachelor's degree with requisite hours to pursue CPA certification or a JD/LLM is necessary.
- CPA certification is considered a plus.
- Experience in state income tax return review is required.
- Ability to foster relationships both internally and with clients.
- Excellent writing, compliance, communication, and tax research skills.
- Capability and desire to perform in a high-energy team environment.
Salary Information:
- KPMG complies with all local/state regulations regarding displaying salary ranges. The offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as the applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
- For California, the salary range is $66,300 - $136,500.
