Job Title: Tax Senior, Credits & Incentives - Multistate

Job Responsibilities:
- As a Multistate Senior Tax Consultant, the primary focus is on statutory credits and negotiated incentives. This involves assisting companies in making strategic decisions regarding investments post-tax reform, which can include updates, replacements, modernization, consolidations, expansions, or new facilities.
- The role involves identifying, qualifying, and calculating tax credits and other incentives for clients.
- Advising clients on location strategy decisions and credits & incentives related to hiring and investments is a crucial part of the responsibilities.
- The consultant is expected to communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including internal parties and economic development representatives.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
- Candidates should have over 2 years of Multistate experience, particularly focusing on credits and incentives.
- The ability to travel approximately 30% of the time is necessary, depending on the work, clients, and industries/sectors served.
- Candidates must have one of the following accreditations obtained, in process, or be willing and able to obtain: Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA; if not CPA eligible, the candidate should be a Licensed Attorney, Enrolled Agent, or possess certifications such as CEcD (Certified Economic Developer), CREA (Certified Real Estate Appraiser), or CCIP (Certified Credits & Incentives Professional).
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An advanced degree such as a Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM is preferred.
- Public accounting experience is preferred, particularly within the Big 4, or an equivalent in law firms or industry.
- Excellent research and writing skills are advantageous for this position.
