Job Title: Executive Global Head of Tax
Job Responsibilities:
The Global Head of Tax at the company is a pivotal role within the finance leadership team, responsible for overseeing the entire global tax function. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a cohesive global tax strategy for the company, ensuring alignment with the firm's objectives and global policies.
- Overseeing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Leading and managing the global tax team to provide support and guidance on tax matters across various jurisdictions.
- Monitoring legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicating implications to senior management, and creating strategies to capitalize on tax legislation changes.
- Advising on the tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate transactions.
- Overseeing and providing guidance on the company’s global equity program.
- Liaising with external auditors and tax advisors on complex tax issues and audits.
- Developing tax-efficient structures for international operations and transactions.
- Ensuring compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements related to tax matters.
- Partnering with finance and accounting teams to integrate tax planning into the overall business strategy and financial reporting processes.
- Providing expert tax advice to senior management on a variety of . and international tax issues, including transfer pricing, tax treaties, and cross-border financing.
- Managing and resolving tax controversies and audits with tax authorities.
Education and Experience Information:
- A minimum of 15+ years of experience as a multinational tax executive within a shared services model, preferably within a professional services firm.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent is required. A JD in Tax and/or certification in related specialty areas is preferred.
- Proven ability to navigate a highly complex, global tax environment.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in problem-solving with global taxing authorities.
- Knowledge of structuring appropriate controls for equity schemes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to convey complex, technical topics to a variety of stakeholders using non-technical language.
- High energy style, adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of understanding and adapting to complex environments and situations, and skilled in motivating and inspiring change at executive levels.
- Ability to view problems from a ‘big picture’ perspective, recognizing critical areas for detailed analysis.
- Proficient in synthesizing information rapidly and applying sound business judgment to derive insights into potential impacts and solutions.
- Articulate and persuasive communicator, capable of handling executive and challenging audiences effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Willingness to work outside of normal . business hours as needed, particularly for unique projects or needs.
- Ability to work full-time in both office and remote environments; physically capable of sitting/standing at a computer and working in front of a computer screen for significant portions of the workday.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this role is between $230,000/year and $410,000/year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
