A law firm seeks a business-minded Litigation Attorney for its San Diego office. Duties

  • Manage business, real estate, and employment defense litigation cases from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with senior litigation and transaction attorneys on complex legal matters.
  • Provide expert legal counsel to clients in business-related disputes.
  • Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
  • Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
  • Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal risks and opportunities.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines.
  • Support the firm’s overall client development and business growth efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in business, real estate, and employment defense.
  • Strong knowledge of California law, particularly in business and real estate litigation.
  • Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Demonstrated experience in client relations and case management.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar is required.

  • Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents.
