Duties
- Manage business, real estate, and employment defense litigation cases from start to finish.
- Collaborate with senior litigation and transaction attorneys on complex legal matters.
- Provide expert legal counsel to clients in business-related disputes.
- Prepare and file legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
- Attend hearings, depositions, and trials as necessary.
- Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal risks and opportunities.
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Support the firm’s overall client development and business growth efforts.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in business, real estate, and employment defense.
- Strong knowledge of California law, particularly in business and real estate litigation.
- Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively with colleagues.
- Demonstrated experience in client relations and case management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active membership in the California State Bar is required.
