Job Title: Senior Sales Executive - GLLF
Job Responsibilities:
The Senior Sales Executive is responsible for driving the growth of new products within the Global Large Law Firm segment, specifically focusing on products like Westlaw Precision, Practical Law, CoCounsel Core, and CoCounsel Drafting. Key responsibilities include engaging with customer stakeholders, coordinating internal stakeholders around strategy and sales processes, and ensuring successful closure of sales. The executive will be accountable for effective messaging, providing product demonstrations, managing the sales process, and developing project plans to close deals.
The role involves:
- Engaging with attorneys and Practice Area Heads using effective messaging and storytelling to create qualified opportunities.
- Validating customer needs, shaping project plans, and driving deals to closure.
- Possessing core knowledge of products within the subsegment, including Westlaw Precision, Practical Law, CC Core, and CC Draft.
- Creating and executing account-level sales strategies, including identifying where additional support is needed and leveraging opportunities to bundle high-growth products.
Baseline expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs) include:
- Consistently achieving or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Creating, owning, and evolving holistic messaging to generate qualified opportunities.
- Maintaining and executing a Territory Business Plan.
- Developing and executing a territory reach strategy, leveraging resources to connect with attorneys and legal professionals, with the aim of generating a pipeline three times the quota ratio.
- Conducting at least 10 qualified customer meetings a week, with a focus on more customer versus internal meetings.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a JD or legal industry experience strongly preferred. A minimum of four years of successful outside sales experience in professional B2B environments is required. A proven track record of sales success is essential, and previous sales experience in software sales and/or online legal information is considered a plus. Candidates should have a working knowledge of sales processes, methods, and techniques.
Salary Information:
The target total cash compensation range for this role varies across locations and is inclusive of both base pay and any target sales incentive. For eligible US locations, the target total cash compensation range is $178,500 - $331,500. Pay is positioned within the range based on several factors, including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. The compensation package is part of a comprehensive Total Reward program, which includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
