Position: Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation Associate
Location: Philadelphia/Wilmington
Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Experience: 2-5 years
The Role:
- Represent clients in bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters, including mortgage foreclosure litigation and other creditors' rights issues.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and assist with trial preparation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
- Participate in client meetings, depositions, and hearings.
- Work closely with partners and senior associates to manage cases and develop strategies.
Qualifications:
- Admitted to practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
- 2-5 years of experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
- Strong academic background, including top law school and high class rank.
- Excellent writing and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Eager to learn and take on new challenges.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
