PwC is seeking a Manager for our Tax Services division, specializing in international tax and mergers and acquisitions. This individual will provide guidance and advice to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy, with a focus on structuring global tax positions. As part of the FSGS M&A team, the Manager will advise multinational corporations, private equity firms, and private companies on the tax aspects of diligence and structuring deals. This role will involve managing client accounts, leading teams, and focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. The Manager will also be responsible for maintaining project success and upholding top standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality work, and leveraging team strengths to meet client expectations.
The ideal candidate for this role will have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, 4 years of experience, and a CPA, Member of the Bar, or other relevant credentials. A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation field of study will also be considered. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of cross-border M&A transactions, experience in international taxation consulting, and knowledge of public accounting practices. They should also have experience in performing financial analyses for transactions, analyzing structural realignment and financial statements, and improving tax efficiencies in an M&A context. Building and utilizing client relationships, managing project workflow and budgets, and supervising teams and coaching staff are also important skills for this role.
