Job Responsibilities:
Contract attorneys are responsible for providing primary and conflict public defense services across the state. They have the flexibility to accept or decline cases, allowing them to balance private and public cases in their practice. Key responsibilities include:

- Ensuring Constitutional representation in all contract cases and maintaining the highest level of case work for public defense.
- Participating in the assignment of cases, with non-conflict cases assigned by the State Public Defender Office and conflict cases assigned by the Alternate Counsel Division (ACD).

Education and Experience Information:
