Overview:

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (CRLA) offers diverse and exciting internship opportunities for future attorneys and advocates committed to social justice and public interest. As an intern, you will have the chance to enhance your legal training under the supervision of experienced litigators and community lawyers. You will gain hands-on experience in areas such as client intake, case development, representation in administrative hearings, litigation, and research and writing.

CRLA's areas of practice include Education, Employment and Labor, Housing, Leadership Development, and Rural Housing. They also have special programs focused on vulnerable rural communities, including Indigenous populations, LGBTQ+ populations, youth, and residents of unincorporated communities.

Qualifications:

- Bilingual (English & Spanish) fluency preferred for Migrant Offices
- Passion for CRLA's mission and vision
- Experience in researching state and federal issues
- Strong writing skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable working with diverse employee and client populations
- Community service experience
- Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Internship Conditions:

- Full or part-time internships available for university credit (specific availability may differ per office and subject area)
- Flexible start and end dates
- Non-paid position, intern expected to provide own funding
