Job Title: Tax Senior - Private Wealth

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior in the Private Wealth Tax practice at the company, the primary responsibilities involve delivering high-level tax compliance and consulting services to individual clients and their trusts, estates, family offices, investment vehicles, charitable pursuits, and closely-held business concerns. The role includes performing high-level reviews of tax research related to individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work papers, and tax returns. Additionally, the Tax Senior will prepare for and assist in client meetings focused on compliance and consulting projects, exploring tax planning opportunities and analyzing the tax implications of transactions for clients.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another business-related field is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience providing tax planning services or preparing and reviewing client work papers and income tax returns is essential.
- Experience in reviewing trust documents is necessary.
- Candidates should possess excellent technology skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and compliance software, alongside strong research and writing skills.
- The role demands the ability to travel up to 25%, depending on work requirements and client needs.
- One of the following active accreditations is required, should be in process, or the candidate should be willing and able to obtain it:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA
- If not CPA eligible, candidates must be a licensed attorney or an Enrolled Agent
- Certifications such as Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) are also acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications:
- An advanced degree such as MST, JD, or LLM is preferred.
- Prior experience with a Big 4 firm is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are highly valued.
- The ability to articulate conclusions, planning opportunities, and risks identified through research projects is important.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this role considers a variety of factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for geographic differentials associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Typically, it is not common for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,570 to $151,580. Additionally, candidates may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program. Awards, if any, depend on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
