Job Title: Fellowship Candidate (2025-2027 Fellowship Applications)

Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and propose a project focused on legal advocacy for disenfranchised individuals, groups, or issues not adequately represented in the legal system, with a particular interest in serving rural Ohioans.
- Collaborate with organization attorneys to create a compelling project proposal aimed at meeting the unmet needs of underserved populations or removing barriers to opportunity.
- Work closely with the organization to develop the project and navigate the fellowship process.
- Prepare and submit a detailed project proposal for submission to the outside fellowship sponsor by the specified deadline.
- Exhibit a strong commitment to public interest law and demonstrate the ability to handle a demanding workload.

Education and Experience Information:
- Candidates should be 3L students or recent law graduates eligible to take the Ohio Bar Exam in July 2026.
- Applicants who can be admitted to practice law in Ohio prior to July 2026 or who can submit a UBE transfer application to the Supreme Court of Ohio by January 15, 2026, may also be considered.
- Successful candidates will have a demonstrated interest in public interest law, strong academic records, excellent organization and communication skills, and the ability to manage a demanding workload.
