A top-tier national law firm is seeking a litigation associate with at least 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation or a federal/state judicial clerkship. This full-time role offers the opportunity to work with a highly respected litigation team on high-impact business disputes across a range of industries. The position is available in three California office locations and is best suited for attorneys with excellent academic backgrounds, polished writing skills, and a collaborative mindset.

Handle all phases of complex commercial litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, and trial prep
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and legal correspondence
Participate in depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on litigation strategy
Engage in fact development and case analysis for business-critical matters
Communicate effectively with clients and team members
At least 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm or through a judicial clerkship
Experience with commercial litigation in state and federal courts
Proven ability to manage cases and meet court deadlines
Excellent academic credentials and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced setting
Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
Law Review or similar academic distinction strongly preferred
Active member of the California State Bar (or eligibility for prompt admission)
Advanced legal research and persuasive writing
Oral advocacy and litigation strategy
Analytical thinking and problem-solving
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
