Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of Experience in Transportation Practice in Arizona Office

The law firm of JSH is currently looking for a highly motivated Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience to join their Transportation practice in their Arizona office. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in transportation litigation and/or insurance defense, and possess a strong understanding of civil litigation. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $110,000-160,000 per year, plus bonus.

Qualifications:

- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
- 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
- Experience with discovery, disclosures, taking/defending depositions, drafting/arguing motions, and court appearances
- Excellent client service, oral advocacy, and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

- Handle a caseload of transportation litigation and insurance defense matters
- Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Attend court appearances and argue motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide exceptional client service

Requirements:

- JD degree from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the State Bar of Arizona
- 1-5 years of experience in civil litigation and/or insurance defense
- Excellent academic credentials

Salary Information:

- Salary range of $110,000-160,000 per year, plus bonus
