Job Title: IP Litigation Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The IP Litigation Associate will be a part of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice Group at the law firm. This position involves working collaboratively within a national practice to navigate complex intellectual property litigation matters. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in intellectual property litigation with a focus on delivering high-quality legal representation.
- Conducting thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
- Drafting legal documents, including motions, briefs, and other litigation-related materials.
- Communicating effectively with clients and team members to ensure alignment on case objectives and progress.
- Participating in Federal Circuit cases, where applicable, to support the firm’s litigation goals.
- Contributing to the growth and development of the firm’s national intellectual property practice.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates interested in the IP Litigation Associate position should possess the following qualifications:
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in the jurisdiction where the candidate intends to practice.
- A minimum of four years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
- Experience with the Federal Circuit is considered a plus.
- Demonstrated academic excellence, with strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Prior experience working in a law firm or clerking is highly desirable.
Salary Information:
The compensation for the IP Litigation Associate role is competitive and will range between $230,000 and $310,000 annually, depending on the candidate’s experience. In addition to the base salary, a discretionary bonus may be available based on performance. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
