Overview

- The firm's patent prosecution team helps clients secure and enforce their patent rights globally.
- As a patent prosecution associate, you will have the opportunity to develop your patent drafting skills and provide strategic counsel to clients.
- This role also offers the opportunity to work on various aspects of intellectual property, including litigation and transactional support.

Responsibilities

- Develop and hone patent drafting skills.
- Provide sound technical, legal, and business advice to clients.
- Manage clients' patent assets to achieve business objectives.
- Work on projects related to intellectual property, including litigation and transactional support.

Qualifications

- 2-5 years of experience as an attorney or combined with agent experience.
- Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Patent drafting experience in software, semiconductor manufacturing, wireless communications, optics, or medical devices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen actively, think critically, and communicate complex concepts to multiple audiences.
- Good judgment, responsiveness, and perseverance.
- Strong intellectual curiosity.
- Self-motivation.
- JD from an accredited university.
- Membership in the state bar for the market where you are applying, or the ability to become barred in that state.
- USPTO Registered.
