Tax Manager Mergers and Acquisitions
Strategy and Transformation Mergers, Acquisitions, and Restructuring

Position Summary:
- Seeking a highly experienced and skilled Tax Manager for Mergers and Acquisitions role
- Involves handling various transactions such as M&A, Divestitures, Joint Ventures, Bankruptcy Planning and Emergence
- Opportunity to lead projects, develop people and manage teams
- Hybrid work model with required co-location in person 2-3 days per week

Work You'll Do:
- Provide tax due diligence, structuring and modeling support for buy-side and sell-side transactions
- Prepare due diligence reports for C-suite audience
- Conduct complex tax research and develop tax-planning strategies
- Enhance tax research skills by exploring technical tax issues across a wide range of tax law

The Team:
- Deloitte Tax LLP, Merger & Acquisition (M&A) professionals offer a broad range of advisory services to support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, investments, and financing structures
- Collaborate with clients across various corporate functions such as finance, tax, treasury, human resources, operations, information technology and risk management
- Analyze and evaluate tax risks and opportunities related to transactions and help achieve global goals, strategies and business objectives

Qualifications:
Required:
- 5+ years of corporate tax experience with a Big 4 organization, law firm, or large multinational company
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Licensed CPA, attorney or Enrolled Agent
- Strong project management skills
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, MBA, JD, and/or LLM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Consulting and compliance experience
- Supervisory experience

Salary Information:
- Wage range for this role is $161,490 to $299,910, taking into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, and training
- Eligible for discretionary annual incentive program
- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances
