A prominent law firm is seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join its nationally recognized Corporate Healthcare Practice. This role focuses on representing healthcare clients through complex strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, healthcare-focused private equity, venture capital investments, and joint ventures. Duties:
Advise healthcare clients on mergers, acquisitions, private equity, and joint venture transactions
Assist with corporate formations, reorganizations, and operational strategies
Draft and negotiate complex transaction and organizational documents
Conduct legal research and analysis in support of strategic deal planning
Work collaboratively with partners and team members across practice groups
Support clients throughout their full corporate life cycle
Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and third-party interactions
Contribute to firm knowledge-building, training, and business development initiatives
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience handling M&A, private equity, and/or joint ventures
Experience advising healthcare clients or working within healthcare-focused transactions preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage transactional matters and communicate directly with clients
Strong collaboration skills and comfort working in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited . law school
Outstanding academic credentials required
Certifications:
Active bar membership in the state corresponding to the office location
Member in good standing with the applicable State Bar
Skills:
Exceptional drafting, research, and analytical skills
Strong oral and written communication abilities
High attention to detail with ability to manage complex matters
Ability to handle client relationships and balance multiple projects
Familiarity with healthcare regulatory considerations is a plus
