Job Title: Manager, Talent Solutions (Support Staffing)
Job Responsibilities:
The Manager, Talent Solutions (Support Staffing) is tasked with a variety of responsibilities centered around recruiting and managing legal non-attorney professionals. Key responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and vetting candidates for legal support roles.
- Building and maintaining candidate rosters and networks within the legal community.
- Assisting the Client Solutions team in fulfilling client orders by understanding client needs and matching suitable candidates.
- Engaging in strategic planning with New Business and Client Solutions teams to meet client requirements.
- Interacting with executives in corporate legal departments and law firms to understand their needs and present viable candidates.
- Managing and growing relationships with existing candidates by staying informed about the legal job market and client environments.
- Supporting New Business and Client Solutions teams to ensure high-quality service delivery to clients.
- Serving as a trusted advisor to clients regarding the legal talent community and job market.
- Preparing candidates for client interviews and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed before assignments.
- Maintaining active relationships with candidates, both on and off assignment, and ensuring all activities are documented in the Candidate ATS (Bullhorn).
- Professionally developing working candidates through regular communication.
- Adhering to the company Handbook and working independently to meet aggressive timelines in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrating sound business judgment and the ability to handle multiple matters and conflicting deadlines.
- Fostering teamwork by building relationships, collaborating, and effectively communicating with teammates and cross-functional partners.
- Identifying, prioritizing, and quickly resolving issues in a positive and practical manner.
- Following through with both internal and external customers and demonstrating strong critical and analytical thinking skills.
- Exhibiting an interest in learning various tools, including proprietary systems.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Information:
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree is required, with a Juris Doctor (.) being highly preferred.
- Experience: The role requires 3-5 years of legal experience, which may include work with a large firm, in-house, and/or as a consultant in the legal services industry. Prior legal recruiting experience is highly preferred.
- Skills: Candidates should have the ability to assess talent, manage multiple priorities with attention to detail, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous recruiting experience and familiarity with Bullhorn or similar Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) are preferred.
