Job Overview

A Glendale-based boutique law firm is seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial-minded attorney to join its Business & Real Estate legal team. The role offers a unique blend of autonomy, client-facing work, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to firm growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven professional looking to work closely with business owners, real estate investors, and executives while managing both litigation and transactional matters.

Duties

  • Prepare and negotiate various legal instruments, including operating agreements, leases, and commercial contracts

  • Manage litigation cases from intake to resolution, including court appearances, discovery, and motion practice

  • Advise companies and property owners on regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and strategic matters

  • Represent clients in a broad range of legal proceedings, including complex commercial and real estate disputes

  • Lead internal process improvement initiatives aimed at streamlining operations and enhancing client service

  • Provide mentorship to junior legal professionals and contribute to team development

  • Actively participate in client communications and strategic planning

Requirements

  • Minimum of 6-10 years of experience practicing law, including both litigation and transactional work

  • Prior experience advising clients in business and/or real estate legal matters

  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships with minimal supervision

  • Adept at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-driven environment

  • Strong leadership skills with an interest in contributing to firm development

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active membership in the California State Bar

Skills

  • Advanced legal writing, analytical, and negotiation skills

  • Effective oral advocacy in court settings

  • Strategic problem-solving abilities

  • Comfortable with both team collaboration and independent work
