Duties:
Manage a caseload involving various civil defense matters under attorney supervision
Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
Appear in court for hearings and trials, both in-person and virtually
Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda
Communicate with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Assist with trial preparation and strategy sessions
Participate in firmwide training, development programs, and team meetings
Requirements:
0-2 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or a related practice area
Active and good-standing member of the California and/or Nevada State Bar
Familiarity with court rules, procedures, and litigation software
Ability to handle deadlines and priorities in a high-volume legal setting
Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Current license to practice law in California or Nevada (required)
Skills:
