Job Overview:
A California-based law firm is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Trial & Litigation Attorney to join its Litigation Practice Group. This position is ideal for a skilled litigator with at least seven years of experience, particularly those with a background in eminent domain, constitutional law, and public entity representation. The successful candidate will thrive in a collaborative, cross-office team environment, taking ownership of complex cases from strategy to trial.

Duties:
Manage complex litigation matters, including constitutional and eminent domain issues
Handle law and motion practice in both state and federal court, including dispositive motions
Develop strategic litigation approaches and advise clients accordingly
Conduct witness interviews, evidence development, and deposition preparation
Lead or assist in trial preparation and court proceedings
Collaborate across offices with colleagues in a team-oriented environment
Represent public entities and advise on land use and related legal matters
Contribute to the professional reputation and visibility of the firm’s litigation practice
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years of litigation experience in state and federal courts
Demonstrated expertise in law and motion practice
Significant trial preparation experience, including depositions and evidence gathering
Familiarity with eminent domain and public agency representation (preferred)
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple offices and with diverse teams
Interest in strategic litigation and complex case development
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
Strong academic credentials required
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in the State of California (required)
