Snowflake, a rapidly growing technology company, is seeking a Senior Director, Associate General Counsel - Commercial to join their team. This role will be responsible for leading and scaling the commercial legal team for the Americas region, managing complex customer negotiations, and providing legal support to various departments within the organization. The successful candidate will have at least 15 years of relevant commercial legal experience and a law degree from an accredited . law school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales teams and other departments to drive revenue through SaaS transactions
- Lead, structure, negotiate, and close complex sales agreements
- Supervise and lead the commercial legal team for the Americas region
- Handle escalations and resolve conflicts effectively
- Serve as a trusted advisor on legal and business-related issues to senior business leaders
- Manage risk and ensure compliance in agreements
- Develop and deliver training on legal issues and contract processes
- Support continuous improvements of forms, policies, and processes
- Stay updated on evolving legal landscape and its impact on the company's services
Qualifications:
- At least 15 years of relevant commercial legal experience
- At least 8 years of management experience, preferably in-house with a successful, high-growth enterprise SaaS company
- Law degree from an accredited . law school and license to practice law in the .
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Background in SaaS-centric issues and various go-to-market programs
