Job Title: Tax Senior - Federal / Corporate Tax

Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Consultant within the Business Tax Services group, you will play a crucial role in tax engagement teams. Your responsibilities will include providing and assisting with various tax services relevant to public and private companies. Key duties involve:

- Performing detailed technical reviews of federal tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals and reviewing all related work papers.
- Coordinating with clients' tax and finance departments for tax planning and compliance data gathering.
- Conducting detailed reviews of income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
- Researching federal tax legislation to understand its impact on compliance and consulting.
- Assisting with various tax consulting projects, including research and writing projects related to federal tax planning, restructuring, controversy, and accounting for income taxes.
- Managing engagement workflow and supervising tax consultants and interns on assigned engagements.

Education and Experience Information:
Required:
- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2–3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 25% based on work and client needs.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in federal taxation.
- Preparation and review experience of federal tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and individuals.
- One of the following active accreditations obtained, in process, or willing to obtain:
- Licensed CPA in the state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA.
- If not CPA eligible:
- Licensed Attorney
- Enrolled Agent
- Certifications: Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Preferred:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, and/or LLM.
- Experience working in virtual and/or global environments.
- Passion for leveraging technology and exploring new technology solutions.
- Experience with accounting for income taxes in accordance with ASC 740.
- Previous experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms.
- Excellent research and writing skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.

Salary Information:
The wage range for this role considers various factors, including skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $66,570 to $151,580. Additionally, you may be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program. Awards, if any, depend on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
