The organization is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Attorney Supervisor to join our legal team. This senior-level position will be responsible for handling complex and sensitive legal matters for the organization, including cases involving fraud, federal or state regulations, and state leases and contracts. The Attorney Supervisor will also be responsible for implementing state procedures and supervising legal support personnel. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a deep understanding of state and federal laws and regulations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Salary: $101, - $173, (depending on experience and qualifications)

Responsibilities:

- Handle complex and sensitive legal matters for the organization, including cases involving fraud, federal or state regulations, and state leases and contracts
- Implement state procedures and ensure compliance with state and federal laws and regulations
- Supervise and mentor legal support personnel
- Analyze and interpret state, federal, and agency regulations
- Prepare documents and instruments for administrative and executive decisions and actions
- Represent the organization in court or any tribunal
- Perform legal research and prepare legal briefs
- Direct the work of lower-level attorneys as needed

Requirements:

- Membership in the Mississippi State Bar Association
- Extensive knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to handle complex and sensitive legal matters with discretion and professionalism
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role is preferred

- Minimum: $101,
- Market: $138,
- Maximum: $173,
