Job Title: Corporate Counsel, WW Operations
Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Counsel for WW Operations at Company is tasked with practicing innovative legal work and supporting the North America Customer Fulfillment operations. The primary responsibilities include:
- Advising on the structure and launch of products and initiatives aimed at serving Company customers. This involves identifying legal, regulatory, and compliance risks and proposing suitable mitigation strategies.
- Supporting all aspects of customer fulfillment operations, which includes the development and implementation of internal compliance functions.
- Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts with vendors and strategic partners, specifically service agreements.
- Developing strategies to creatively and business-orientedly address legal and regulatory challenges while building processes that manage risk and enable the business to operate quickly and flexibly.
- Providing direct advisement on . legal matters and coordinating with overseas lawyers, both in-house and external counsel, to support international programs.
- Occasionally engaging in domestic and international travel as required.
Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor degree and membership in one state bar or an equivalent qualification is required.
- A minimum of 5+ years of legal experience is necessary.
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or an equivalent field is needed.
- Preferred qualifications include a mix of experience working in a corporate law firm and in-house roles.
Salary Information:
The base pay for the Corporate Counsel position at Company ranges from $138,500 per year in the lowest geographic market to $229,000 per year in the highest geographic market. The salary is determined based on several factors including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Company is a total compensation company, meaning that dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation such as equity, sign-on payments, and additional benefits like medical and financial may be provided as part of a comprehensive compensation package.
