Job Title: Associate Attorney
Job Responsibilities:
The associate attorney will be part of a mid-size litigation firm focused on commercial litigation, with an emphasis on insurance-related matters. The primary responsibilities include:
- Investigating and defending first- and third-party insurance claims.
- Conducting and defending depositions to gather testimonies and evidence.
- Drafting dispositive motions necessary for the litigation process.
- Attending court hearings in both state and federal courts to represent clients.
- Engaging in legal research, writing, and independent thinking to develop strong case strategies.
- Handling day-to-day responsibilities for various aspects of the cases, from pre-litigation analysis to client recommendations, trial, and appeal.
Education and Experience Information:
- Education: Candidates must possess a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Experience: Applicants should have 2-10 years of litigation experience, with a preference for those with a background in insurance-related litigation. This includes handling coverage disputes, personal injury cases, premises liability lawsuits, and bad faith claims. Experience with construction defect lawsuits is considered a plus.
- Licensure & Certification: Candidates must hold a valid license to practice law in Colorado.

- Ability to manage a fast-paced workload and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using a hands-on approach for research, problem-solving, and maintaining client relations.

Salary Information:
The salary for the associate attorney position ranges from $110,000 to $185,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
