Job Title: Financial Services Tax - Real Estate Senior Manager
Job Responsibilities:
A career in the Financial Services Tax practice within the Corporate Tax services at the company involves helping clients meet their tax obligations while managing the impact of tax on their business. The role includes advising clients on local and overseas tax affairs and acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing working capital, and profit sharing for partners. The role also involves helping organizations understand the pricing implications of goods and services between related parties and advising on the tax implications of deals. The team assists Financial Services clients in navigating the frequently changing and complex national and international tax environment related to stringent capital requirements, management of operational tax risks, and tax implications of investing in different jurisdictions. The Senior Manager will help clients with their tax structuring while addressing the challenges of the continuously changing tax world, both locally and globally.
As a Senior Manager, the candidate will work as part of a team of problem solvers, assisting in solving complex business issues from strategy to execution. The company requires the Senior Manager to:

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 5 years
Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity
Preferred Qualifications:
- Intimate knowledge of tax compliance methods, strategy consulting for Real Estate Investment Trusts, and Real Estate Partnerships.
- Considerable knowledge of partnership structures and their impact on real estate transactions and corresponding tax liabilities.
- Considerable knowledge of accounting of Unrelated Business Taxable Income.
- Comprehensive technical skills, including providing full services to real estate owners, developers, and investors.
- Considerable experience in identifying and addressing client needs, building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Experience in managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience in preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
- Experience as a team leader: supervising teams to create an atmosphere of trust and encouraging improvement and innovation.
- Coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.
- Demonstrates success as a tax technical business advisor, developing new relationships, and making introductions to sell new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Preferred familiarity with a CRM system.
- Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization and leads by example in a professional services environment.
- Innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
- Utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Advance pricing strategy through the use of pricing tools and influence a shift to alternative fee arrangements.
Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation within the range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and applicable employment laws.
