A prominent law firm is seeking a Junior Real Estate Lending Associate Attorney to join its Real Estate team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This position focuses on representing financial institutions in real estate and asset-based lending transactions, particularly loan originations. Ideal candidates will have foundational experience in transactional real estate matters and be motivated to work with a diverse client base ranging from financial institutions to developers.

Duties:
Represent financial institutions in real estate and asset-based lending transactions
Draft and negotiate loan documents for real estate secured transactions
Assist in loan originations and due diligence reviews
Review title, survey, and other closing-related documentation
Represent clients in purchase, sale, and financing transactions related to real estate assets
Support senior attorneys with complex lending and collateral matters
Communicate with clients regarding transactional progress and compliance
Coordinate and manage closings
Maintain organized case files and meet deadlines efficiently
Requirements:
2–3 years of experience in real estate lending and loan origination
Prior experience representing financial institutions is essential
Background in representing developers in real estate transactions is preferred
Ability to manage multiple transactions and prioritize tasks
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active member of the North Carolina State Bar
Skills:
Strong legal writing, research, and drafting capabilities
Excellent communication and client service skills
Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines
Familiarity with real estate title, survey review, and financing documentation
