Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Private Companies
Job Responsibilities:
As a Tax Senior Manager within the company, the primary responsibility is to assist private companies with their business advisory needs, which include audit, tax compliance, and strategic planning to enhance operational efficiency. The role encompasses the entire business life cycle of a private company, from inception through growth, maturity, and transition. Key responsibilities include:
- Engaging in the design and implementation of personalized service plans tailored for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Addressing key issues such as wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
- Leading as a purpose-driven and values-oriented leader in accordance with the global leadership development framework, **Members Only** Professional.
- Collaborating with a team of problem solvers to tackle complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encouraging team members to voice their opinions and managing ambiguous and unstructured challenges effectively.
- Initiating open coaching conversations across all levels and seamlessly transitioning between strategic and detailed thinking.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions proactively.
- Contributing technical expertise in areas of specialization and fostering an environment where people and technology collaborate effectively.
- Navigating the complexities of cross-border and diverse teams and engagements.
- Initiating and leading open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
- Upholding the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years
Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge and/or a proven track record in handling complex tax issues faced by non-publicly traded companies.
- Experience in day-to-day compliance and consulting for various entities.
- Proven ability to identify and address client needs and maintain client relationships.
- Proficiency in managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience in supervising teams and promoting diverse views to encourage innovation.
- Demonstrated leadership as a business advisor, including developing new relationships and introducing new services.
- Experience in innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Proficiency in using digitization tools to optimize engagements.
Salary Information:
The salary range for the Tax Senior Manager position is $119,300 - $328,000, with eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range, and actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The company offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, among others.
