Associate Corporate Counsel, Multi-Channel Fulfillment

Job Responsibilities:
The Associate Corporate Counsel will be an integral part of the business team, providing direct legal counsel to business leadership to guide business development. The role involves reviewing and advising on legal issues related to new business features, products, and processes. The attorney will support escalations related to existing features or products and draft and negotiate agreements. Additionally, the role includes training business teams on legal and regulatory matters and streamlining processes to support business clients, ensuring a great customer experience. The position requires high judgment, strong ownership, detail-orientation, and the ability to think creatively about complex problems. The candidate must work efficiently and independently, manage competing priorities, communicate effectively with business and stakeholders, and provide effective advice in ambiguous situations.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic qualifications include a Juris Doctor degree and membership in one state bar or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of legal experience. Experience in private practice or in-house at a technology company or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work experience, experience working at a logistics company or supporting operational teams, and privacy experience. Experience working cross-functionally is also preferred.

Salary Information:
The base pay for this position ranges from $118,400 per year in the lowest geographic market to $195,700 per year in the highest geographic market. Compensation is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As a total compensation company, Amazon may offer equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation as part of the total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
