Job Title: Summer Legal Internship
Job Responsibilities:
The Summer Legal Internship provides interns with the opportunity to gain experience in tax law within one of the largest state tax agencies in the country. Interns will work alongside knowledgeable tax attorneys in a supportive and adaptable environment. The program includes exposure to a variety of activities such as:
- Researching tax issues
- Drafting memorandums and briefs
- Attending administrative hearings
- Formulating policy
- Working on regulation projects
- Implementing new programs
Interns will be assigned to a specific bureau based on the needs of the Legal Division and the intern's area of interest. They will generally be supervised by an attorney working in the assigned bureau and receive assignments from that bureau's workload.
