Job Title: International Tax Senior Consultant, Global Trade Advisory
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in engagements requiring regulatory analysis for various entities and affiliates.
- Work with . and multinational companies to understand national and international trade requirements.
- Align client trade functions with their business objectives.
- Develop and pursue creative strategies using the latest technologies.
- Assist importers and exporters in achieving worldwide compliance and enhancing efficiencies in their global supply chain.
- Advise multinational companies on global import and export strategies and compliance.
- Work with clients to assess and deploy technology solutions for international trade management operations.
- Provide planning and compliance assistance and explore automated import and export solutions.
- Engage in supply chain efficiency planning, including trade and security, customs valuation planning, and first sale for export planning.
- Analyze transfer pricing policies to ensure compliance with customs valuation requirements.
- Assist in process improvement planning and implementation.
- Offer trade compliance audit assistance and representation before trade authorities globally.
Education and Experience:
- Required:
- Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model, requiring co-location in person 2 – 3 days per week.
- 3+ years of experience in Import, Export and/or Technology Enablement (operational, government, law firm, or consulting).
- Bachelor’s degree in a legal, business, or technology-related field.
- Experience with US import regulations.
- Knowledge of export regulations, including ITAR/EAR.
- Ability to travel up to 25%, on average.
- Active accreditation obtained, in process, or willing and able to obtain, such as:
- Licensed CPA, Licensed attorney, Enrolled Agent, US Customhouse Broker's License, CUSECO, CUSICO, or Professional Accreditation in EU Customs Law.
- Preferred:
- Prior consulting experience.
- Advanced degree such as MST, MAcc, JD, or LLM.
- Foreign language skills or study abroad experience.
- Strong research, writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with implementing and configuring trade management software like SAP GTS or Oracle GTM.
- Project management experience with strong organizational, data management, and people skills.
- Experience in using PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, Excel, and/or Visio.
- SAP SD/MM Certifications.
Salary Information:
- The wage range for this role considers various factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure, and certifications. The range is $77,070 to $175,500.
- Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to rules governing the program, with awards based on individual and organizational performance.
